What You'll Need

- Heat Press: A heat press machine suitable for DTF transfers. You can also use a clothing iron or a Cricut Heat Press.
- Fabric or Garment: The item onto which you'll be applying the transfer.
- Teflon Sheet: To protect your fabric and transfer during pressing.
- Lint Roller: To ensure your fabric is clean and free of debris.
- Heat Resistant Tape: Optional, but useful for securing your transfer in place.
Application Process
Prepare Your Fabric:
- Ensure your fabric or garment is clean and free of wrinkles.
- Use a lint roller to remove any lint or debris from the surface.
Position Your Transfer:
- Place your fabric on the heat press.
- Position your DTF transfer on the fabric, ensuring it's centered and aligned as desired.
Heat Press Settings:
- Refer to the instructions provided with your DTF transfers for recommended heat press settings.
- Generally, DTF transfers require a specific temperature, pressure, and pressing time.
Pressing the Transfer:
- Once your heat press is set up, carefully lower the press to apply pressure to the transfer.
- Follow the recommended pressing time for your transfer.
- Lift the press and remove the Teflon sheet.
Peeling the Transfer:
- Allow the transfer to cool for a few seconds.
- Gently peel the transfer paper away from the fabric, leaving your vibrant DTF print behind.
- Press down on the DTF Print one more time for 5 seconds.
Finish and Care:
- Allow your fabric to cool completely before handling.
- Follow any additional instructions provided with your DTF transfers for post-application care.
